FlashLED has reached a new agreement with Telefónica Tech extending the term of connectivity services in its new FlashLED SOS V16 beacons. With this extension, and from the purchase of the device, Telefónica will offer the additional connectivity service until 2038.
In this way, FlashLED will offer at no extra cost more than 16 years of state-of-the-art NB-IoT connectivity , which allows a very low consumption of the device's battery to extend its useful life and ensure coverage throughout the national territory, as well as the management of said connectivity through its Kite platform. Telefónica Tech's Kite managed connectivity platform increases the efficiency and security of the information collected by the beacon and, in addition, facilitates the sending of information to the DGT, complying with all the regulatory requirements.
